What We Do
Our team believes that recovery and wellness are possible!
Our hope is to improve the lives of all individuals impacted by early psychosis. We deliver early identification and intervention services to individuals in the early stages of psychosis.
We believe in providing recovery oriented care that is individualized to each client. We aim to enhance the likelihood that youth who are experiencing, or at risk for, psychosis can 1) manage their illness, 2) move through appropriate developmental stages, and 3) establish a life of their choosing.
Services We Offer
The Strive for Wellness clinic provides care for youth under an evidence-based, stepped care model. Our services include:
Teletherapy or in-person sessions
All of the treatment we provide is individualized to the client's needs and goals. Specifically, we offer a modular treatment approach to customize treatment to clients and families.
Outreach & Education
Our program staff work closely with schools, mental health clinics, houses of worship, law enforcement, and other communities that come into contact with young people to promote public awareness and decrease stigma about mental illness, and to educate the community on early identification and treatment:
Individual psychoeducation about services or psychosis-risk
Formal outreach presentations
Our outreach presentations can include free CEs for psychologists, social workers, and counselors. Please contact us for more information!
Consultation & Assessment
Comprehensive diagnostic and clinical assessments to assess for symptoms of all psychopathology, including psychosis. Assessments are completed with the client and family members over the course of a full day and include:
Referral to research
We also provide professional client consultation. Consultation is at the core of the clinical services we provide. We consult with other providers to increase understanding of symptoms and interventions for early-psychosis. We accept consultation requests from schools, colleges, providers, and state institutions.
Consultation services can be conducted in person, over-the-phone, by email, or through our state-of-the-art tele-psychiatry network, and include:
